You should know-BOBBY JINDAL

If you don't already, you should really get to know Governor Bobby Jindal. In 2007 Jindal became the first Indian-American to be elected to a statewide political office in U.S. history when he was elected governor of Louisiana.

He is the father of three young children with his wife,Supriya, who is a chemical engineer and has a MBA.

At age 37, the Republicans are grooming him to be a serious contender to Obama in the next election. He is a STAUNCH CONSERVATIVE, has a good political history, and has an inspiring story.Jindal as a human being is extremely likable and respected. Facts about Bobby Jindal
  • He graduated with honors from Brown Univeristy with a degree in biology and public policy
  • He is a Rhodes Scholar and got a masters in Political Science from Oxford.
  • He reportedly got accepted to both Harvard Medical School and Yale Law School.
  • After Oxford he worked for consulting firm McKinsey & Company.
  • He was born and raised Hindu, but converted to Catholicism in high school.  His wife would later convert to Catholicism.
  • At the age of 24 (yes TWENTY-FOUR), Jindal was appointed by the Governor to Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals.
  • In 2004 he was elected to represent the Louisana 1st District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
  • This man DELIVERED HIS 3rd CHILD by himself, at home, without direct assistance from doctors or nurses. No lie.
Jindal was chosen to give the official Republican response after President Obama's first state of the union address last month. This is a huge deal and is usually a strong indicator of someone who has eyes on the presidency.
Tonight, Jindal again found himself carrying the Republican mantle opposite a prime time Obama appearance. He said Republicans must be ready to defy the president when they disagree with his policies." We are now in position to be the loyal opposition,"he said."The time for talking about the past is over." "The right question is not if we want the president to fail or succeed, but whether we want America to succeed."

You may not agree with his political stances but he is bringing MAJOR heat.Keep your eyes on Bobby Jindal-he is just what the Republicans, and more importantly CONSERVATIVES,need.
