EXPERTS SAY OBAMA OFF TO SLOW START

President Obama and his appointed Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner were given failing performance scores in the Wall Street Journal forecasting survey.The survey, which is highly respected, consisted of 49 top economists this year.The majority of the economists said that they were very dissatisfied with the administrations economic policies.On average they graded Obama with a 59 score on a scale to 100.Of the 49 polled, 42 had him graded below 60.
Geithner received an overall grade of 51, while Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke scored a much more respectable 71.
The economists' main criticism of the Obama team centered on delays in enacting key parts of plans to rescue banks.
