Here are some Conservative facts for you to ponder.

According to the polling firm Real Clear Politics(RCP), Congress's approval rating is 22.3%

Attorney General Eric Holder has threatened to challenge the Arizona immigration law but admitted today that he's never read the bill(which is only 10 pages).

According to the St. Louis Fed., 6.716M people have been unemployed for at least 27 weeks. The previous record was set in 1983 when 2.885M people had been unemployed for at least 27 weeks.

A major reason that the Greek financial system is failing is because their annual budget deficit is 14% of GDP ( so they spend 14% more than they get in tax revenue). The U.S. budget deficit was 10% in 2009 and is projected to be 10.8% in 2010.

The entire European Union is threatened by the current Greek financial crisis, largely caused by Greece's debt which is 112% of their GDP. The US debt is expected to reach the same ratio in 2012.

Greece is under incredible fiscal stress because of years of deficit spending. 30% of the bailout they're getting is coming from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) who gets 40% of its funding from American taxpayers. In other words, the American taxpayer is footing the bill because the European Union refuses to.

At the United Nations summit on nuclear proliferation today, Iranian president Ahmadinjad accused the US of being the instigator of world nuclear proliferation; he received applause from many UN members for his caustic speech.

The 2010 census cost 1300% more than the 1970 census (while population only doubled).

Each member of Congress is paid $177K per year (over 300% more than the average American).On April 27th, the Congress voted to freeze their own pay for a year by a vote of 405-15. ALL 15 VOTES TO RAISE THEIR PAY CAME FROM DEMOCRATS.

The current federal deficit is nearly $14 TRILLION or over $100K for every working person in the country.

Obama still wants US trial for some Gitmo suspects

White House aides are increasingly convinced that 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed will never face trial in a civilian court and are trying to cut a deal that would still transfer Guantanamo Bay terrorism suspects to the US.

Obama is trying to keep a campaign pledge to close the US military prison in Cuba, a promise that has attracted harsh criticism from Republicans who say it would jeopardize national security. And lately, without surprise, he has come under fire from people within his own party who say he should not accept any deal that would prosecute Mohammed outside the normal judicial system.

In my opinion, Obama's main goal here is to close Gitmo and to try as many detainees as possible on US soil. As ridiculous as that is, to accomplish that he will need to abandon his plan to prosecute the 9/11 conspirators in civilian courts and instead send them before military tribunals.

Our old friend Sen. Linsey Graham, as was posted in a previous post, is behind the "DEAL", as he seems very eager to close Gitmo for some unknown idiotic reason.

One question that crosses my mind is; What does BO plan on doing with the detainees who, because of evidence problems or other reasons, cannot be successfully prosecuted in either tribunals or civilian courts, but are obviously too dangerous to be released?

They could soon be living your neighborhood. Think about it!

The Chicago Way is now America's Way; Judgeships for Dem(Obama)-Care Votes?

There are no coincidences in Obama world.

And this one only coincides with the way things are done back home for Obama.

Last Wednesday, Barack Obama hosted ten House Democrats who voted against the health care bill in November at the White House; he obviously was trying to persuade them to switch their votes to yes. One of the ten was Jim Matheson of Utah. The White House, that day, sent out a press release announcing that Obama nominated Matheson's brother Scott M. Matheson, Jr. to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Let us consider the possibility, for a brief moment, that it is merely coincidence.

Is the White House so fantastically blind and tone-deaf that it failed to detect the red flags and blaring alarms that Scott Matheson's judicial nomination would raise coming on the very day that Obama is wooing his brother, Jim?

Corrupt or stupid..... take your pick.

Lindsey Graham-nesty

What a busy "bipartisan" bee Lindsey Graham-nesty has been lately.

He's holding hands with John Kerry to push carbon caps.

He's collaborating with the White House to close down Gitmo.

And he's schmoozing with Chuck Schumer on another illegal alien amnesty campaign- an effort that has been in the works for months.

So i ask, does the GOP have the balls to take on the left and the permanent Nanny State(political correctness)?

State of the Union.........Washington Dems are Out of Touch

Tonight's State of the Union address did little to ensure us our government is looking out for our liberty, and did much to reconfirm the fact that Washington is completely out of touch.

The speech, loaded with inaccuracies, empty promises, blame games and rhetoric, shows us that our elected officials no longer wish to protect our rights. Instead, they're looking to expand government and create spending programs that funnel taxpayer dollars into special interest groups.

The address to the nation leaves us with the same feeling we had back when Nancy Pelosi and crew smiled and clapped as they shoved an unconstitutional government health care bill through the House, knowing full well that most Americans oppose it.

Obama also tried to say that if we invest in " green energy," our country will once again become a global powerhouse economy. He even poked fun at those of us who do not agree with overwhelming evidence in support of global warming. WHAT WORLD IS HE LIVING IN?

The President claims he can double our exports in five years, but ignores the fact that our products are not competitive. That's what unions and bailouts did for us.

And you know that health care legislation the majority of Americans oppose? OUR PRESIDENT THIS EVENING CALLED FOR A RENEWED PUSH TO GET IT PASSED.

At this point, one has to wonder if this government is just completely ignorant to reality!

The State of the Union can be summed up in one statement....... WASHINGTON IS COMPLETELY OUT OF TOUCH WITH THE PEOPLE IT WORKS FOR.

At that my friends is a dangerous situation for our country. A situation we simply have to change.

American Muslim Extremists a Growing Threat

In the past two years, more than 30 American Muslim extremists have been arrested on various terror-related charges including providing material support to terrorists and plotting to plant bombs in the U.S., the Anti-Defamation League reports.

The organization warns that these extremists, "who have domestic addresses and U.S. passports, constitute a growing terrorist threat in the United States."

That threat came into focus in November when authorities say Virginia-born Muslim Nidal Malik Hasan opened fire at Ft. Hood, Texas, leaving 13 people dead and 29 wounded.

Two months earlier, American Muslim convert Michael Finton was charged with attempting to bomb the federal courthouse in Springfield, IL.

That same month, Najibullah Zazi, a U.S. permanent resident, was charged with conspiracy to use weapons of mass distraction in the U.S. Officials believe he was plotting to blow up commuter trains.

These cases are a troubling reminder of the broad problem of increased radicalization among some of the domestic Muslim population. Many of these extremists are fueled by hatred of Jews, Israel, and America, and have been influenced, to some degree,by the ideologies of extreme terrorist intolerance overseas.

One factor fueling the threat is the increased availability on the Internet of extremist propaganda in English. This material,previously available largely in Arabic, might include instructions for carrying out suicide bombings.

This is a serious problem that's growing, and promises to keep growing.
