Dodd- For AIG bonuses before, now against

Liberal Senator Chris Dodd(D-Conn) Monday night proposed a idea of taxing AIG bonus recipients so that the government could recoup the $450 million the company is paying its employees in its financial products unit.Within hours, the idea spread to both houses of congress and they were proposing a AIG bonus tax.

But we have learned that while the Senate was constructing the $787 billion stimulus package last month, Dodd unexpectedly added an executive-compensation restriction to the bill. That amendment provides an "exception for contractually obligated bonuses agree on before Feb.11,2009," which exempts the very AIG bonuses that Dodd and others are trying to tax.

Sounds like Chris is trying to cover his ass if you ask me.Let's not forget this is the same LIBERAL who conspired with Rep.Barney Frank(D-Mass.),then HUD director Andrew Cuomo, and President Bill Clinton to give birth to the current housing crisis by forcing banks to give mortgages to people who never would have qualified, including many illegals.

Also, Sen.Dodd was AIG's largest single recipient of campaign donations during the 2008 election cycle with $103,100,according to opensecrets.org.
It gets better, #2 recipient was then Sen. Barack Obama's campaign with $100,332. Both Dodd and Obama have said that they had "no idea" about the contributions and are "outraged."    Of course they are.
