Clinton-Obama offer olive branch to terrorists

In my opinion this my be the most ridiculous  idea that the Obama administration has conjured so far.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, speaking at a United Nations conference on Afghanistan, reiterated Obama's idea that Taliban and Al-Qaeda members who abandoned extremism "MUST" be granted an 'honorable form of reconciliation.'

"We must support the government of Afghanistan to separate the extremists of Al-Qaeda and the Taliban from those who have joined their ranks not out of conviction, but out of desperation," Clinton said.

"They should be offered an honorable form of reconciliation and re-integration into a peaceful society."

Please tell me if  i'm ignorant or bigoted, but these radical extremists who pledge to, "die into martyrdom", and "to kill all Westerners for Allah," deserve what essentially they're calling a "HONORABLE DISCHARGE." Just like our U.S. military men who serve their country. What an insult. 

Sure there probably are many members of these organizations who are forced to fight for a cause they may not totally agree with, but how can we possibly decipher them from ones plotting the next 9/11. Maybe Hillary will just ask them?  Take their word for it, why not?

I'm not surprised that "The Messiah & Disciples" are promoting this  liberal non-sense after changing the "terms for terrorism" and releasing the Gitmo "detainees."

Like i've been saying, liberals in everyday life just piss us off with their views and ways, but on the world stage these acts of liberalism can and will "CHANGE" our nation for the worse.

The nicest word that comes to mind to describe the Obama administration in the eyes of our enemies is "SOFT."

Unable to legitimately compete in the talk radio format, Democrats have repeatedly threatened  the return of the "Fairness" Doctrine, which would require broadcasters to "give both sides equal treatment."

TALIBAN CHIEF VOWS 'AMAZING ATTACK' ON WASHINGTON

Just days after the U.S. spoke of plans to increase efforts against the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan,the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for  a deadly assault on a police academy and said it is planning a terrorist attack on the White House that will 'amaze" the world.

Pakistani Taliban commander Baitullah Mehsud, who has a $5 million bounty on his head from the U.S.,said Monday's attack on the outskirts of the Pakistan-Afghan border was in retaliation for U.S. missile strikes against militants along the border.

"Soon we will launch an attack in Washington that will amaze everyone in the world,"Mehsud told the Associated Press by phone.He provided no details.

The threat comes days after Obama warned that Al-Qaeda is actively planning attacks on the U.S. from secret havens in Pakistan.

It's obvious that the Taliban and Al-Qaeda presence is dominant now in Pakistan simply because of overwhelming U.S. presence in Iraq and Afghanistan. Also, the Pakistani government under Asif Aki Zardari is weak and vulnerable after only one year in power.

Mehsud's threats are not to be taken lightly, as he has claimed responsibility for many attacks including the September bombing of the Marriott hotel in Islamabad that killed 54 people, but the fact that he is doing phone interviews with the AP makes one question his capabilities.

He also said that he was not deterred by the U.S. bounty on his head, "I  wish to die and embrace martyrdom."  That's the scariest thing about these people, they will die for their cause without a second thought.

U.S. DEPLOYS MISSILE DESTROYERS TO NORTH KOREA

The U.S. deployed two missile- interceptor ships from South Korea on Monday, days ahead of a North Korean rocket launch seen by many as a test of its longest- range missile.

The two  U.S. destroyers were on a mission believed to monitor the North's rocket launch.The ships are equipped with Aegis radar, a system that enables the vessels to locate, track, and shoot down missiles.

South Korea and Japan also dispatched missile destroyers to monitor the launch.

This is in slight contrast to Defense Secretary Robert Gates' comments this past weekend. Gates said on "FOX News Sunday" that he doesn't believe North Korea has the ability to launch a missile with a warhead that can reach Hawaii, Alaska, or the Pacific Coast. And he said, he "didn't see the U.S. taking any steps to shooting down a missile." He also said that the U.S. would be, "unprepared to do so."

Well we better get "prepared to do so" because it's obvious that Kim Jong-Il and North Korea are "prepared" to execute their own agenda, now or later.

OBAMA'S MOST 'PERILOUS' LEGAL PICK

JUDGES should interpret the constitution according to other nations' legal "norms."Sharia law could apply to disputes in United States courts. The United States constitutes an "axis of disobedience" along with North Korea and Saddam-era Iraq.

Those are the views of the man on track to become one of the government's top lawyers: Harold Koh.

Yes,"the Messiah" is at it again with a controversial and radical association.This time it's a radical nomination that can have very adverse effects on international agreements and issues ranging from trade to arms control.

Koh,the former dean of Yale Law school,will represent our country in such places as the United Nations and the International Court of Justice.-Yes, that's right, with those views.

It's a job where you want a STRONG DEFENDER of AMERICAN SOVEREIGNTY. But that's not Koh. He's a fan of "transnational legal process," arguing that the distinctions between us and international law should vanish. -How radical is that?

He even believes that judges should use "logic" to strike down the death penalty, which is clearly permitted in the constitution.

Koh also said, in addressing the Yale Club of Greenwich in 2007, that "in a appropriate case, he didn't see any reason why SHARIA LAW would not be applied to govern a case in the United States."

Sharia law is the body of Islamic religious law.

Worse yet,the state job might be a launching pad for a Supreme Court nomination.Koh is certainly on many liberals' short lists for the high court.

I guess those "campaign lies" of radical Obama associates  like Bill Ayers and Khalid Mansour don't look so ABSURD  now, do they? While it may be ABSURD to call Obama a terrorist, it's certainly appropriate to label him as a RADICAL.

Obama "CONSIDERS" National Guard on Mexican Border

I really don't understand what has to happen before  Obama and his incompetent cabinet members, Clinton and Napolitano, send the National Guard to the Mexico-U.S. border.

By now the escalation of the drug war violence is well known and, not to mention, out of control.The cartels have taken over border cities of Juarez, Nuevo Laredo, and Tijuana with ruthless violence including murders of public officials.

Last week the U.S. send 350 federal agents to the border to "survey" the situation and help the Mexican military. If that isn't a joke i don't know what is. The Mexico-U.S. border is over 2,000 miles and they send 350 agents.

Since then, in the last couple days, Obama has said he is now "considering" whether the National Guard is needed.

With recent word that the  Lebanese terrorist organization, Hezbollah, and possibly Al-Qaeda are using Mexican cartel routes to smuggle people and ammunition into the U.S., what more needs to happen.

The National Guard needs to be sent to secure or better yet "SEAL" the border.

This is beyond a Mexican drug war issue. This is an illegal immigration and possibly terrorism issue too. 

With these efforts we can curtail the drug trade, immigration, kidnapping and terror issues our nation faces.

Non-action by the Obama administration is a crime against all American citizens.

Resurgent Taliban threatens U.S. success in Afghan War

It took 66 days and many poor policy decisions, but i have to admit i agree with Obama's surprising decision to act aggressively in the war in Afghanistan.

We have to remember that this isn't a war the U.S. chose to be involved in, but after 9/11 we obviously had no choice.Our efforts in Iraq to this point have been successful, but the resurgence of the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan is a need for concern, especially if the liberal Obama administration agrees.

The U.S., who will commit  17,000 more troops, will change the way its forces are arrayed in Afghanistan as part of an overhaul of U.S. strategy in the flagging war. The Obama administration is expected to unveil a revamped plan for fighting insurgents in Afghanistan and Pakistan next week.

It is rumored that the plan will call for new garrisons(bodies of troops) in far-flung Afghan areas.That would help the U.S. hold ground against a resurgent Taliban-led insurgency.The forthcoming plan calls for a onus on Pakistan to confront the threat of insurgents who use its territory as a sanctuary from attack by U.S. and allied forces.

The emerging plan contemplates a large build-up of Afghan armed forces and security services, to as many as 400,000.That would be more than twice the number Afghanistan now has.

The plan also recommends a steep increase in civilian experts, and projects its goals over a 3-5 year period. 

My fellow Americans, don't get used to this strong military and national defense policy, it won't continue.

NORTH KOREA TO TEST MISSILE THAT CAN REACH U.S.

North Korea plans to test a Taepodong 2 missile that is capable of carrying nuclear weapons and reaching the continental U.S. in the next three weeks, a senior  U.S. defense official with access to the latest intelligence said.

"They appear to be serious.This is no bluff," the U.S. official said."It could look like an attack on the U.S., but it won't be."

The Taepodong 2 was last tested in 2006 and fell shortly after launch. It has never successfully been tested or achieved its maximum range.

The U.S. Navy has put its Aegis radar anti-missile defense on alert but has stopped short of putting the interceptor missiles on high alert.U.S. intelligence is seeing the North Koreans move the components for a missile launch into place in recent days at a base in North East Korea.

They seem to be emboldened by the worlds response- or lack of response- to the Iranian satellite launch-and "want to join in."

Don't worry though, it's not an act of terrorism only another one of  our many "OVERSEAS CONTINGENCY OPERATIONS."

OBAMA LOOKS TO ABOLISH CONSERVATIVE VOICES

One  thing is for certain, conservatives rule talk radio and the liberal controlled Congress don't like it one bit. Sen. Chuck Schumer and fellow Democrats plan an all out attack on talk radio.

With a new "Fairness Doctrine," backed by a Obama White House, political talk radio as we know it, will end. If these forces of darkness win, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Don Imus, Sean Hannity, and many others will be muzzled with federal regulations controlling political talk.

A revived Fairness Doctrine would again force stations to air divergent views, which would make them leery of having controversial hosts for fear of federal sanctions and law suites.

Fox News' Bill O'Reilly said,"the far-left kooks are definitely  devising a plan of attack, but they will fail."

In my opinion this threatens our constitutional right of "free speech." These leftists in the Obama regime are trying to "re-write the constitution." Think about it, first the 90% tax on the AIG bonuses and now this. Regardless of the AIG bonuses being a bad thing, we still don't want a government who can simply tax anything and everything whenever it chooses. Both issues are unconstitutional in my eyes, and the eyes of many political experts. These issues remind me of communist Russia prior to the Cold War. What's next, waiting in line for a loaf of bread?

Lets hope Bill O'Reilly is right.

U.S. ENEMIES SEEK WMD's TO END 'OUR WAY OF LIFE'

Former top military commander General Richard Myers said that America's enemies in the War on Terror are,"ruthless" and "relentless" and will not hesitate to use nuclear and biological weapons if they obtain them.

"They want to do away with our way of life," Myers said."They could bring great harm to this country and our allies."

Myers,who served as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from October 2001 until September 2005, says that the U.S. focused too narrowly on tactical battles and failed to develop a long range strategy to battle terrorism.

"I'm not an alarmist but i did spend four years after 9/11 looking at all this intelligence from violent extremists, he says. They could attack America through biological weapons. God forbid if they get their hands on nuclear materials, they could do it that way as well. And they're ruthless so we know they'd use them."

But Obama is concerned with using the proper term for terrorism so that we aren't alarmed and in turn passive and unprepared.

Obama's budget is a loaded weapon aimed at U.S.

If you had any doubt that we were on "The Road to Socialism," "the Messiah's" budget should clear up that confusion. So far,Obama is really making a big scary mess of things and this budget is a step in the wrong direction.

Believe me I'm not the only one who feels this way.The Wall Street Journal last week said,"the budget represents a historical shift in the ideological direction of U.S. economic policy." The Journal went on to mention that Obama is attempting to expand the role of government to such a dominant position that its power can never be rolled back. Seems that I'm not alone in my assessment. 

Here are a few of the budget's broad strokes:

--IT DOUBLES THE DEBT IN 8 YEARS

--IT HAS A $1.4 TRILLION TAX INCREASE(IN THE MIDDLE OF A RECESSION)

--IT NEVER BALANCES THE BUDGET AND PROPOSES THAT,FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS,OUR DEFICITS ARE AT A RECORD HIGH.

Oh, and then there's the bad news.Not only is there a huge tax increase for the energy and manufacturing sectors(and those get passed on to us, the consumer), but overall tax rates are going up.

This is very bad news for small business in America.What too many people fail to realize is that SMALL BUSINESS is big business in America- over 70% of all American business is done by a small business.That means that it's likely that you either own or work for one, so Obama wants more of your money.And I'm guessing that most of you don't have a whole lot extra lying around these days.

Can't say you weren't warned, he did offer "CHANGE," and you better BELIEVE in it.

EUROPE REBUFFING OBAMA,CALLS SPENDING "A WAY TO HELL"

Only nine months ago,when he addressed an estimated 200,000 people in Germany, Barack Obama was heralded as "President of the world."

But now that he's president of the United States, the world doesn't appear to be following up on its endorsement.

From France to Poland,Czech Republic to China,many European nations are rebuffing him and offering little room to negotiate economic and security policies.

Obama faces his first major international test next week at the G20 summit in London.

I think as he heads to Europe, he faces a public relations disaster.European leaders are turning against his massive spending plans.They, as many Americans, see it as a destructive way to move forward and will only add to a massive American debt burden.

Some leaders have called the Obama administration,"inept,""inefficient" and "increasingly poorly managed."A top European Union politician slammed Obama's plans for the U.S. to spend its way out of recession as, "a way to hell."

They also feel that the massive stimulus package and the banking bailout will undermine the stability of global financial markets.

Poland is concerned that Obama,as a way to appease Russia, plans to bailout of a missile defense shield that the Bush administration negotiated with Poland and the Czech Republic.

Sure sounds like "CHANGE" included pissing off our allies overseas, too.

I just want to briefly update you on the RIDICULOUS "new terms" that the Obama administration feels are vitally necessary under their liberal agenda.

I covered the first couple in earlier posts as they were released, but a new one was just "unveiled" today.

First it was the need to do away with: ENEMY COMBATANT  which will simply be called DETAINEE

Then yesterday they changed TERRORISM to MAN CAUSED DISASTER

And now the latest and funniest liberal term: GLOBAL WAR ON TERROR will now be OVERSEAS CONTINGENCY OPERATION

I'm sorry to make humor of this but these liberals are hilarious. This simply proves how they choose to downplay the seriousness of terrorism.I do believe this shows a sign of weakness in typical liberal style, and as unimportant as it may seem, i truly feel this will contribute in a small way to future terrorist attacks. I mean, "man caused disasters."

Jindal was chosen to give the official Republican response after President Obama's first state of the union address last month. This is a huge deal and is usually a strong indicator of someone who has eyes on the presidency.

Tonight, Jindal again found himself carrying the Republican mantle opposite a prime time Obama appearance. He said Republicans must be ready to defy the president when they disagree with his policies." We are now in position to be the loyal opposition,"he said."The time for talking about the past is over." "The right question is not if we want the president to fail or succeed, but whether we want America to succeed."

You may not agree with his political stances but he is bringing MAJOR heat.Keep your eyes on Bobby Jindal-he is just what the Republicans, and more importantly CONSERVATIVES,need.

Liberal Translation,"Man Caused Disaster"

The new term for terrorism being used by President Obama's secretary of Homeland Security would be comical if it were not so scary.

Instead of referring to threats from terrorists,Janet Napolitano is referring in her speeches to "man caused disasters." This is yet another "Liberal translation" that again shows weakness and, even more so, denial.

By this logic, the FBI should refer to  crimes committed by serial killers and serial rapists as "man-caused afflictions."After all, we don't want to create fear about serial killers.

Any parent knows that the way to protect their children is to teach them about the dangers they may face.But in "Obama Land",calling a threat by its real name is politically incorrect.White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said that Obama is using"different words and phrases" for War on Terrorism in order to reach out to moderate parts of the world. I think he means "LIBERAL" parts.

This effort to avoid calling terrorists what they are signals a return to the complacent atmosphere that led to the 9/11 attacks.For example, prior to 9/11,because of relentless "liberal" media criticism,the FBI became so gun shy and politically correct that even though terrorists were known to hatch their plots in mosques, they were adverse to following suspects there.

Under federal guidelines in place before 9/11,FBI agents could not even look at online chat rooms to develop  leads on people who might be recruiting terrorists or distributing information on making explosives.They had to determine that there was a sound investigative basis first before signing on to a chat room that any 12-year old could enter.

In other words,"a crime practically had to be committed before you could investigate."

Obama has built his career on words.But unfortunately words won't protect us from terrorists.His "soft" verbiage sends a message to those on the front lines against terrorists to thread softly.

Instead of being in denial about terrorism,Obama should constantly warn us of the danger we face, as the Bush administration did post 9/11 with terror threat levels.

But when another attack occurs,at least it will be a "man-caused disaster" and not another terrorist attack.

Liberal Policy, Radical Muslims rock Sweden

This blog is primarily to expose the liberal and socialist views of our new administration and how it has a detrimental effect on our nation. But i wanted to post this story as a real example of the negativity and dangers of liberal policy.

A few years ago, the left wing London Guardian newspaper called Sweden the most successful society the world has ever known. But today Sweden is being rocked by a influx of Muslim immigrants and the growth of radical Islam.

Malmo is Sweden's 3rd largest city and a major epicenter of the Islamization of Europe. WIDE-OPEN IMMIGRATION POLICIES have changed Sweden and have made Malmo,which is now one quarter Muslim,one of the most racially divided cities in Europe.

Most of the Muslim immigrants are concentrated in one district, where the male unemployment rate is 82 percent.Crime affects one of three families in the city and RAPE HAS TRIPLED IN 20 YEARS.     Still a religion of peace i see!!

Right-wing conservative Swedes, who support limits on immigration, have been stigmatized by the LIBERAL LEFT-WING MEDIA as bigots.    Sound familiar?

But there is a growing acceptance that the "Swedish Model"- GENEROUS WELFARE BENEFITS combined with LIBERAL IMMIGRATION POLICIES- is now unsustainable.    You think? 

Experts are predicting that Sweden will have a Muslim majority by 2049 or sooner.

Iran leaders rebuff Obama offer

Iran's leaders,Ayatollah Ali Khamenei(below) and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad quickly rebuffed Obama's offer of diplomatic dialogue on Friday.

The response was more than just a dismissive slap at the outreach, it was a broad lesson in the mind-set of Iran's all powerful theocracy and how it will dictate the pace of any new steps by Obama to chip away at a nearly 30-year diplomatic freeze.

It's sign of weakness by the Obama administration in my opinion. I don't think the idea of starting dialogue is a bad idea, but to allow Iran to dictate any of the terms, would be. 

Some think it's just the first step in the bargaining."Iranian leaders are not about concessions at this stage.It's all about ideology from the Iranian side," said a professor at the United Arab Emirates University.

For Khamenei and his inner circle, that means staying true to the 1979 Islamic Revolution and the political narrative of rejecting the United States.Any quick gestures to mend ties with Washington would be perceived by hard-liners as a 

betrayal of the revolution.

Khamenei has set the bar impossibly high-demanding an overhaul of U.S. foreign policy, including giving up "unconditional support" for Israel and halting claims that Iran is seeking nuclear arms.Iran insists its nuclear program is only  for peaceful energy purposes.

"Have you released Iranian assets?""Have you lifted oppressive sanctions?""Have you given up making accusations against the great Iranian nation and its officials?",Khamenei said in a speech this week. The crowd chanted,"Death to America."

Gitmo "detainees" to be released on US soil

I have to admit that even though i'm not surprised at the liberal agenda of the Obama administration, i am shocked at how fast it's unfolding.

In my opinion,Attorney General Eric Holder made an unbelievable statement on Friday saying that some "detainees" being held at Guantanamo Bay may end up being released on US soil. Yes, they are "detainees," but some of the 245 inmates are "TERRORISTS." Many of which plotted the 9/11 attack and other terror attacks around the world, and most who have a "KILL WESTERNERS" plan.

Holder said that the administration is working with allies to review individual cases to determine which suspects will be put on trial or released to comply with plans to close the detention facility by next year.

European justice ministers met with Holder this week and pressed for details of how many prisoners  that the U.S. planned to release domestically,as part of any potential deal for allies to accept detainees.

This is beyond my comprehension and potentially devastating to our nation in the War on Terror.

A 20 year old photo has surfaced showing Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, a former KGB officer, in disguise as a tourist during President Reagan's visit to Moscow in 1988.

Reagan, who was visiting former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev during a political thaw which soon ended the Cold War,was taking a walk around Red Square and then was introduced to some tourists.

The man on the left,with camera around his neck, was identified as Putin.

The planting of KGB officers as bystanders was common practice during Soviet times.During the  tense stand-off of the Cold War, they were used to challenge foreign leaders during visits to Russia.

OBAMA HALTS RAIDS ON ILLEGALS

Just a few days after Speaker Pelosi showered a group of illegal aliens with compliments about their "patriotism," and how it's "un American" to enforce current immigration laws, President Obama halted all raids on illegals until Homeland Security can review policy and procedure. 

If this isn't a sign of weakness i don't know what is.Not only are illegals with criminal intent laughing, but anyone who understands our illegal immigration problem must be shaking their heads. In fact,everyone should be except of course the Pro-Immigration groups, led by Rep.Luis Gutierrez(D-IL), who are pressuring Obama to live up to his campaign promises.

If we couldn't prevent 560 kidnappings from occurring in 2008 in the Phoenix/Tucson area alone, and we couldn't prevent 11% of California's prison population from being illegal aliens, then why would you take a step to weaken a immigration enforcement procedure.

Maybe next move is to eliminate ICE completely.

Dodd admits amendment was his work

UPDATED POST:  Senator Chris Dodd(D-Conn) admitted on Wednesday that it was his fault that the amendment to exempt contractually obligated bonuses from the stimulus package was included.

In his admission though, he also stated that he was encouraged by the US Treasury to include the executive restriction. He also made it clear that he nor Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner had any knowledge of the AIG bonuses that were agreed upon.

It hasn't been a smooth start for Geithner as many Republicans and some in his own party are calling for his firing already.

Pelosi- "Raids must stop"

If you haven't noticed yet, my genuine dislike for Nancy Pelosi is extreme. I relish every opportunity i get to make her liberal agenda known.

Well, she's at it again. Speaker Pelosi recently addressed a group  in San Francisco that included may illegal immigrants. She told them that enforcement of current immigration laws, as  currently practiced, is "un American."

Pelosi, condemning raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement(ICE), referred to the immigrants she was addressing as,"very patriotic."

Is she unreal or what? She panders these immigrants at the expense of a government agency(ICE). I guess ICE doing the job the government hires them to do is UN PATRIOTIC, and border jumping is PATRIOTIC.

I can go on and on about this immigration issue, and i have made my view known, but for the Speaker of the House to praise illegal aliens is an insult to our nation.

Who's really protecting the Geneva Conventions?

As a presidential candidate,Barack Obama criticized the Bush administration for its lawless and abusive detainee policy. A Pentagon review of the conditions at Gitmo, requested by President Obama, concluded that the conditions at the facility meet all the requirements of the Geneva Conventions.

One of the ironies of the War on Terror is that the Bush administration has been tarred as war criminals, yet they took no shortcuts around the Geneva Conventions, even thought shortcuts were readily available to them.

Of course this isn't what we've heard from the liberal mainstream media. On numerous occasions, liberal publications like the New York Times and the Washington Post have called the Bush policies,"ghastly ideas,"and "extreme theories on terrorism that will damage the 217-year old laws of our nation."

The basis of this is that the Bush administration ruled that terrorists captured on the battlefield are not entitled to the same rights as POW's,as stated in the Geneva Convention.It's surprising,then, just over 20 years ago these same newspapers applauded Reagan for refusing to ratify an amendment  to the original Geneva Convention-Protocol 1- that would of extended its protections to "liberation forces" and terrorists around the world.

Well no surprise here, the liberal media picks and chooses its stance based on its agenda at the time.

There is no doubt that the Geneva Convention treaties are in place to distinguish detention policies between terrorists and civilians, and rightfully so, and for that i obviously agree. They also state that, "no detainee should suffer penalty for lack of cooperation with a interrogator," which i absolutely disagree with.

But, regardless of opinion, the liberal media once again reports the news and its opinion based on personal agenda.

Dodd- For AIG bonuses before, now against

Liberal Senator Chris Dodd(D-Conn) Monday night proposed a idea of taxing AIG bonus recipients so that the government could recoup the $450 million the company is paying its employees in its financial products unit.Within hours, the idea spread to both houses of congress and they were proposing a AIG bonus tax.

But we have learned that while the Senate was constructing the $787 billion stimulus package last month, Dodd unexpectedly added an executive-compensation restriction to the bill.That amendment provides an "exception for contractually obligated bonuses agree on before Feb.11,2009," which exempts the very AIG bonuses that Dodd and others are trying to tax.

Sounds like Chris is trying to cover his ass if you ask me.Let's not forget this is the same LIBERAL who conspired with Rep.Barney Frank(D-Mass.),then HUD director Andrew Cuomo, and President Bill Clinton to give birth to the current housing crisis by forcing banks to give mortgages to people who never would have qualified, including many illegals. 

Also, Sen.Dodd was AIG's largest single recipient of campaign donations during the 2008 election cycle with $103,100,according to opensecrets.org.

It gets better, #2 recipient was then Sen. Barack Obama's campaign with $100,332. Both Dodd and Obama have said that they had "no idea" about the contributions and are "outraged."    Of course they are.

March to Socialism-Fiscal Irresponsibility

It seems that the 'Savior' of the world,Barack Obama, and his socialist plan, have hit a few bumps on his way.Not enough bumps but a few. Some states with Republican governors have refused the stimulus money.Gov. Rick Perry of Texas won't take a big chunk of the money,Bobby Jindal(R-LA) won't take it, and Marc Sanford of South Carolina will only take it if he can pay off his states' debt.

You see,Sanford has this crazy idea that we got ourselves into this mess by spending too much to begin with. How crazy is that!!

Lets break it down into layman's terms.Say a person or household overspends by living out of their means and creates an enormous amount of debt, but then comes into a huge inheritance, the fiscally responsible thing to do would be to PAY DOWN YOUR DEBTS, not spend more.It's not rocket science.

Well, there is one problem with that scenario. It gives the government NO CONTROL, which is what the stimulus package is all about. 

These Republican governors,and most conservatives know that more spending is not the answer. Gov.Sanford sought a waiver last week to use the stimulus money to not create more jobs and programs, but to pay off South Carolina's debt.He was told that the stimulus law does not allow the President to grant an exception for the stimulus money. 

Obama will use every  government angle to break the contracts for AIG's  employee bonuses, that were obviously earned by their employees, but will hold a gun to South Carolina's head on what they must do with the money.

Will Israel strike without approval?

As tension around the world heightens, the state of the Iran-Israel conflict gets closer and closer to decision time.

Many questions arise: Would/should Israel strike Iran without U.S.cooperation or approval?

My opinion is, if they have to, absolutely they would. But to the notion of that positive answer is, what would be deemed as they "have to." Also, would the Israeli Air Force have the ways and means to be successful in such a attack.

Last May the Israeli's were rebuffed by Bush in there request for help in an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities. Don't take that as anything other than a post-Iraq hesitation by Bush. I believe his people had convinced him that an attack on Iran should only be a absolute last resort.

But the Israeli's should know that help from the US will be much less likely now under the Obama administration.

I believe Israel should and will take a diplomatic approach initially, but the fear of the unknown of the Iranian nuclear program should force them to act in a timely manner. Iran has made it clear on many occasions that they desire to "wipe Israel off the map."

And former US Ambassador to the United Nations,Nancy Soderberg, said that the timetable for an Israeli strike would be moved up considerably if they felt that Russia would hold true to its promise to provide Iran with a surface-to-air missile program that would greatly complicate an Israeli attack.

'TEA PARTIES'

Fiscal Conservatives are fighting back.

 A national movement called,'Tea Parties,'-inspired by The Revolutionary War era Boston Tea Party to oppose British Taxation, are happening all over the country in protest of the Obama administrations stimulus package and budget in general.

Police said more than 4,000 people attended the grassroots protest in Cincinnati on Sunday to protest wasteful government spending.Protesters held signs that read,"Give me liberty,no debt,"and "Where's my bailout."

There are more than 150 'Tea Parties' scheduled across the nation in the coming months.Locally, the Chicago event is scheduled for tax day,April 15th at the Daley Center Plaza 50 West Washington St. from 12noon 'til 2pm.

To no surprise, the national movement has been ignored by the liberal mainstream media to this point, but Fox News and most blogs are covering it.Noel Sheppard, of the conservative blog NewsBusters.org writes about the lack of media coverage,"Compare that to how these networks practically fell all over themselves to report the war protests after the public's opinion concerning Iraq drastically changed in late 2003."

"CHANGE" & "HOPE", are they tax deductible?

Obama plans on paying for his $3.6 trillion spending bill by raising taxes on "the rich." I know, that 2% who makes $250k or more.But we all know there will be a trickle down effect on to all taxpayers, count on that.

The problem is, by raising taxes in a recession, he will turn a disaster into a catastrophe. 

While liberals love being praised for their style,brilliance and courage, one thing 

they don't want talked about is their money.Democrats are constantly boasting about how poor they are-as if that's a virtue in a capitalist society.

No matter how much money they have, Liberals will never give up their angry self-righteous ways.This is especially true if their money came from inheritance, marriage, or the taxpayer,the preferred sources of income for Liberal America.

Democrats' claims of poverty goes to show you how out of touch they are with actual  incomes in America today.

At the Democratic National Convention, the Obama's were lauded for their "daunting self sacrifice" for passing on lucrative jobs to work in "public service."

In Michelle Obama's case this apparently is defined as taking a job as a "diversity coordination" at a big city hospital for $300k per year.

SUCH A SACRIFICE.

White House drops "Enemy Combatant"

In yet another sign of weakness, the Obama administration issued a statement that the term "enemy combatant" will no longer be used to refer to terror suspects held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

They also stated that international law governs the detention of terrorist suspects, and that only suspects that provided "substantial" support to Al-Qaeda or the Taliban would be considered detainable.

The best part is that under international law it states that all detained suspects are labeled as either POW's, enemy combatants, or unprivileged belligerents, none of which Obama seems to prefer.

Some may see it as irrelevant what we choose to call them, but my point is that it's  just another sign of liberal weakness that will expose us to further attack.

Illegal alien admits to Levy killing

Ingmar Guandique, a 27 year old illegal immigrant from El Salvador has been charged with the 2001 murder of Chandra Levy.

Guandique, who is currently serving a prison sentence in California for attacking two female joggers in the same Rock Creek,MD park that Levy's skeletal remains were found, is one of many illegals who are released back on our streets after committing crimes.

I know i keep harping on this immigration issue, but i truly feel that it is the greatest problem we face today. Liberals will argue that most ILLEGALS are here as hard working people and that they deserve the  same opportunities that American citizens have. Well, in my opinion that's total BULLSHIT because first of all ILLEGAL means ILLEGAL, and if you're not here legally you don't deserve anything but deportation or imprisonment.Secondly, because of our lax ways and liberal agenda, ruthless criminals like Guandique can pay $4,000 to jump the border.

Guandique, hasn't admitted the crime to authorities but he has admitted it to two witnesses.Below are the admissions he made in the affidavit. 

• Guandique told one unnamed witness that he killed a young woman in Washington.
• To another witness, Guandique said he and two of his friends saw a female jogger in Rock Creek Park with thick, dark hair, jumped her and dragged her from the path into a secluded area, knocking her unconscious. He said they gagged her, then raped her, and that he cut her throat and stabbed her when she woke up during the rape.
• Guandique told a third witness that he and two of his friends saw a female with curly hair along a Rock Creek Park trail; grabbed her and pushed her into the bushes; choked her to death; then buried her under leaves.
• To yet another witness and as early as 2002, Guandique admitted to killing Levy, claiming others were involved in the murder too. (A former cellmate of Guandique recounted that story to me during an interview)

        

Muslim TV Exec pleads not guilty in wife beheading

The founder of a Muslim-American television station has pleaded not guilty to charges that he beheaded his wife.

Muzzamill"Mo"Hassan,44, is charged with one count of second- degree murder in the Feb.12 death of 37-year old Aasiya Hassan.

The Pakistani- born businessman has been held in custody since shortly after he reported his wife's death. Erie County prosecutor Colleen Gable has said,"there is a strong sense of guilt in this case." She cited, "strong motive." Aasiya Hassan was stabbed multiple times and beheaded less than one week after she had her husband served with divorce papers.

Let me guess: It's Bush's fault.The infidel's fault.The Jew's fault.

Or possibly he was just:Redistributing life,preserving the family honor, or Glorifying Allah!

TOP 10 TERROR THREATS IN 2009

Prior to his departure, outgoing CIA chief Michael Hayden listed the Top 10 terror threats to America in 2009.

1. Al Qaeda: "It is the organization that has the capacity to most threaten the physical safety of America and Americans. So it remains job No. 1. And we have talked about some successes and so on, but it is resilient, and therefore we have to continue to keep an eye on Al Qaeda," he said.

2. Violence in Mexico: "Our good friend and neighbor Mexico had this horrible surge in violence that may cause -- in fact has caused -- us to talk with our Mexican friends, in more meaningful and deeper ways, to discover ways that we can cooperate against what we now view to be, and has always been, a common problem. ...

"What you've got is President Calderon, very heroically, taking on drug cartels that I think everyone agrees threaten certainly the well-being of the Mexican people and the Mexican state, and taking them on in a very, very progressive way. Now, it is not quite the same thing as Colombia, where you had a politically motivated movement, the FARC, merging with narcotics organizations. Here it is largely in the business of crime but the effects could be just as dangerous, certainly to the well-being of the Mexican people."

3. Iran's nuclear program: "I included Iran, in terms of as they move forward in their own decision-making process, as they continue to churn out LEU, low enriched uranium, they do it at great cost, diplomatically and economically with regard to sanctions. They seem to be doing it with a purpose. As that quantity of that stockpile grows, you would think that at some point in that process, they are going to have to make a decision as to what it is they are going to do with it. So that is something we have to keep a close eye on as well."

4. Europe and the War on Terror: Hayden said he believes that real substantive issues separate the U.S. and Europe in executing the War on Terror. He said "growing daylight" separates the allies and it's not a question of "personalities."

5. Instability caused by the low price of oil: "The price of oil is another thing that is not quite a crisis, but it is destabilizing," he said. "As oil goes under about $40 a barrel, it probably doesn't have a big impact in Russia, which has a large (economy) and frankly invested pretty wisely. I'm not sure that it doesn't have more of an impact in Iran and in Venezuela. When (global) oil is about $40 a barrel, their heavy crude is about $30 a barrel. And that really creates stresses inside the (Hugo) Chavez regime. So again, these are not threats, but they will create torque, and may then suggest some instability."

6. Pakistan: "I don't want to get into the business of commenting on the internal politics of a good friend. But Pakistan is in a very difficult circumstance right now," Hayden said. "You do have the after-effects of Mumbai. You do have what is happening in the tribal region. You do have the instability along the Afghan-Pakistan border. You do have very serious economic problems with the Pakistani state. And you do have a new government, attempting to establish its legs and to build a democratic Pakistan for the future. That is a real devils brew of issues. And President Zardari and Prime Minister Galani have their hands full trying to deal with that. You mentioned nuclear weapons, and clearly, should they ever fall into the wrong hands, it would greatly concern us."

7. Afghanistan: "The closer you get to that Afghanistan-Pakistan border area -- the factors of geography, of history, of culture -- all become more and more important, larger factors, in any kind of calculus. If you ask me if there is a disappointment in my time here, it is that we have not killed or captured #1 or #2 (of Al Qaeda). But there have been measurable successes in the war on terrorism."

8. North Korea:"North Korea is always a wild card. It's almost a gimme that sooner or later, they are going to try to stir the pot, and try to destabilize things."

9. China: China is the emerging superpower, and as such is in more influential economically. China has always been seen through the prism of expanding markets, Hayden said, and  it remains to be seen how this communist nation will weather an economic downturn and what conditions global recession will create internally.

10. The Middle East: As instability continues in the Middle East over a Palestinian-Israeli peace most recently complicated by an Israeli offensive in Gaza against terror group Hamas, Hayden said the region will continue to be a flash point that can't be ignored.

Amina Said, 18, and her sister Sarah, 17, smile happily in one widely circulating photo, and Amina is wearing what looks like a sweatshirt bearing the name “AMERICAN.” But their fate may have been the herald of a new, disquieting feature of the American landscape: honor killing. Amina and Sarah were shot dead in Irving, Texas, on New Year’s Day. Police are searching for their father, Yaser Abdel Said, on a warrant for capital murder. 

The girls’ great aunt, Gail Gartrell, told reporters, “This was an honor killing.” She explained that Yaser Said had long abused the girls, and after discovering that they had boyfriends, had threatened to kill them -- whereupon their mother fled with them. “She ran with them,” said Gartrell, “because she knew he would carry out the threat.” But Said found them, and apparently did carry it out.

Honor killing, the practice of murdering a female family member who is believed to have sullied the family honor, enjoys widespread acceptance in some areas of the Islamic world.

The War Next Door

Yes, that image to the left is exactly what you think it is. Those are the heads of five Mexican soldiers who were beheaded by Mexican drug cartels to send a message that the violence is escalating to unprecedented levels.

By now we all have heard about the drug war that rages south of our border, but what we should know is that this is far from being only a Mexican problem.This war has gradually intensified over the past 4 years and is now out of control. The cartels have basically taken over control of the entire northern part of the country by out numbering and intimidating local police.In the town of Juarez, just south of El Paso, Tx, the Sinaloa cartel forced the police chief to resign after a threat that they would kill a police officer every 48 hours until he did so. After two murders he had no choice but to step down and move his family across the border to El Paso.

There were been 6,300+ murders in 2008, and roughly 1,200 already this year.These ruthless cartels have raised Mexico City to #1 kidnapping city in the world.

The problem i have is that the #2 city for reported kidnappings is Phoenix, Az. That's right, right here in the USA.There were 560 reported in the Phoenix area last year.In my opinion,the illegal immigration problem is and has been the #1 problem this country faces, yet we don't think so. The Bush administration agreed but couldn't figure out how to fix it. President Obama and his liberal clan led by new Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano are in denial about the problem.Obama, when question yesterday about deploying troops to help Mexican authorities on the border, said it's not at that point yet. Is he serious? 560 reported kidnappings in Phoenix, which by the way isn't even a border city, and he thinks,"it's not there yet." By the way Arizona is Napolitano's home state.

The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms issued a travel advisory for American citizens not to travel to Mexico because the violence is too intense.

The incompetence of our government makes me think that there is more to this than meets the eye.Is it possible that the American and Mexican governments are lax in their efforts to curtail these border war drug issues because they have a fiscal stake in it? It is a fact that drug trafficking brings in $38 million yearly from the US to Mexico. Also factual is that 90% of the assault rifles being used by the cartels were supplied by the USA.

EXPERTS SAY OBAMA OFF TO SLOW START

President Obama and his appointed Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner were given failing performance scores in the Wall Street Journal forecasting survey.The survey, which is highly respected, consisted of 49 top economists this year.The majority of the economists said that they were very dissatisfied with the administrations economic policies.On average they graded Obama with a 59 score on a scale to 100.Of the 49 polled, 42 had him graded below 60.

Geithner received an overall grade of 51, while Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke scored a much more respectable 71.

The economists' main criticism of the Obama team centered on delays in enacting key parts of plans to rescue banks.

NO MORE PORK!!  Ya right, and no more lobbyists either. We heard the "Messiah" campaign on those promises for 15 months, but here we are 50 days into his reign and he signs the pork laden $410 billion Omnibus bill. 

I know, I know it's a Bush holdover bill. That's what all the liberal Dem supporters of this bill are preaching. True that, true that, and what's also factual is that 55% of the earmarks in this bill are Democrat PORK. Maybe he doesn't know, but the Commander in Chief has something called VETO power. Instead, he quietly signed this bill today and defended himself by calling it IMPERFECT. What happened to CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN?

Air Pelosi

I love it.  The arrogance that is Nancy Pelosi is rearing its ugly head.The word in Washington it that the Speaker has had a history of demanding Air Force jets for every flight she needs to take. Seems that the liberal witch is showing the arrogance we always know she was all about. 

Quotes were released stating that her staff has the nerve to demand military jets at the Speakers request for last minute flights, and makes a habit of last minute cancellations at the expense of the tax payer. 

There were some real gems buried in the FOIA records release. I zeroed in on Pelosi’s diva request in December 2008 to have the military reposition a military jet from San Francisco Airport to Travis Air Force base so she wouldn’t have to drive an hour and half.

Reading through the e-mail exchanges between DoD officials and Pelosi’s staff, you can’t help but feel very, very sorry for the men and women in uniform who have to put up with this woman — and even sorrier for all of us taxpayers who are footing her carbon footprint-expanding bills.

Vatican's Smackdown of Pelosi

Nancy Pelosi  probably wishes the Pope's motorcade stranded him at a prior engagement before their sit down at the Vatican last week. Pope Benedict's rebuke of the pro-abortion Catholic Pelosi was worded diplomatically, of course, but was as transparent as the motorcade windows.

Message from Benedict: Study more. And he sent another message as well — that those with higher positions have higher responsibilities not to formally cooperate with the sin of abortion. That message undoubtedly was intended not just for Pelosi but for the entire class of Catholic politicians who support abortion rights, like Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, and Joe Biden, among others.
